Mercy Ministry is a practical ministry which operates by reaching out to the underprivileged. At Christ Church Umhlanga we do this by raising funds, donating goods and providing services. Our outreach is wholly motivated by the Gospel of Jesus Christ. 

Mercy Ministry has assisted Sibusisiwe, a crèche in KwaMashu, since 2006. This has involved improving the crèche facilities, donating food and other goods, and giving Christmas gifts to the children. 

From 2011 Mercy Ministry began working towards the establishment of a Transition Baby Home.
