Grant James Retief - Preaching Pastor

Grant is a sinner adopted into God's family because of God's grace. He has the privilege of being married to Lillibet and being dad to Talita, Elizabeth and Levi. He is the preaching pastor, and leads the team at Christ Church Umhlanga. He likes listening to music, reading books and watching rugby.

Scott Seivewright - Assistant Minister

 Scott has a Fine Art degree and Bachelor of Theology as well doing some studies in film & design. He loves science fiction & superheroes but he says the greatest hero of all is the Lord Jesus Christ. Here at Christ Church Umhlanga Scott's primary focus is the the evening services and the young adults ministry.

Nicky Morris - Children's worker

Nicky Morris is a trained teacher with a deep love for children. She became a Christian at the age of 21 whilst studying the book of Mark. She became convinced of the truth of the Bible, of the saving power and divinity of Jesus and of her own personal need for salvation. After teaching for a few years in London Nicky joined the 9:38 Apprentice Scheme run at Dundonald Church in Wimbledon. Following her two year apprenticeship, which involved working with children and church administration, she returned to South Africa to pursue a degree in theology and a licentiate in children’s work (as well as an honours year focusing on children). She is now in her third year of working fulltime at Christ Church Umhlanga where she loves running the children’s ministry!

Robyn Connor - Administrative genius and CCU Mother

I became a Christian in my youth but it has taken a lifetime to understant and fully appreciate just exactly what God did for me to reconcile me to himself in Jesus' death on the cross.

I am still learning that "When God's opinion is what matters most -- the God who smiles on us in his grace -- then we are liberated to serve others out of love, rather than gain their good opinion."

I am serving at CCU as the Co-ordinator on staff.

Stuart is a sinner who’s been forgiven by the blood of Jesus Christ. He’s a born and bred Zululander who was practically raised on the beach with a ball in his hand. He has 2 super cool sisters and loving parents. His hobbies (some more regular than others) include reading, listening to music, watching cricket/rugby/tennis, eating, sailing and irritating Sinen Majola!
